Exerpeutic Folding Magnetic Upright Bike with Pulse – Review
Using an upright bike is a great addition to any workout routine. But it’s also a great way to exercise for people who are just getting started as well as for people who have trouble standing to exercise.
The Exerpeutic Folding Magnetic Upright Bike with Pulse has a weight limit of 300 pounds, which is just over 136 kgs, as well as having a seat cushion that can accommodate people who are overweight. It is suitable for people with a height range of 5′ 3” to 6′ 1”.
The seat can be adjusted, depending on the height of the user – so whether you’re on the shorter or the taller side, you can ride in comfort. The pedals on this bike are larger, so for people who do wear a larger shoe size, they’ll be able to pedal with ease. This also means that your foot won’t slip off the pedal, as can happen with smaller pedal bikes.
The bike is foldable, so you can put it away out of sight when you’re not using it. It folds to around ½ the size when fully assembled. It’s assembled weight is just under 20 kgs.
The included transportation wheels allow for easy movement from one place to another.
When you’re using the bike, you have the option to change the tension level, using one of the 8 levels so that you adjust whether or not your workout is easier or harder.
It has a high torque crank system, which means that you get a better workout and get a smooth and consistent pedaling motion.
The bike comes with a monitor for the hand that can let users know what their heart rate is. This can help you adjust workouts so that you reach your target heart rate for maximum cardiovascular benefits.
The bike also has leg stabilizers, which offer great support. So even when you’re going through a more strenuous cardiovascular workout, you won’t have to be concerned that the bike is going to shift around on the floor or tip over.
The bike has an easy to read large LCD display window (3.3”W x 1.5”H), which shows the information you need to adjust your routines if needed. You’ll get a readout of the amount of calories that you burned during your workout.
You’ll also get to see how far you went and the amount of time that it took you to conclude your workout. Plus, the machine will show you how fast you were going and what your heart rate was during your routine.
The bike is sturdy – with a solid frame – and easily allows for taller people to have plenty of range of motion when pedaling. It has a v-belt drive, which means the bike is a quiet ride.
Using the bike will be quiet enough so that if you want to do something else, such as listen to music or watch your favourite TV show, you’ll be able to hear that with ease.
